On May 18, 2018, the Official Journal of the European Union (EU) issued directives (EU) 2018/736~(EU) 2018/742 on 7 directives, which amend the exemption clause for lead in Annex III of the EU RoHS Directive. The effective date of the directive is July 1, 2019.
