India will classify 13 new products into the BIS Mandatory Certification System, which will take effect on February 16, 2018

August 16, 2017, the Indian Ministry of Electronic Information Technology issued a notice to 13 categories of electronic products added to the BIS compulsory certification system, February 16, 2018 entered into force.
13 categories of electronic products are as follows:
1, embedded LED lighting
2, LED lights and street lights
3, LED floodlights
4, LED portable lights
5, LED light string
6, LED emergency lights
7, rated power less than or equal to 10kVA UPS uninterruptible power supply or inverter
8, the screen is less than 32 inches of plasma / LCD / LED screen
9, the screen is less than 32 inches of the visual display / screen monitor
10, closed-circuit television camera / video recorder
11, for home / household appliances adapter
12, USB-driven bar code reader, barcode scanner, Irish iris scanner, optical fingerprint scanner
13, smart watches
